Live art interventions take to the streets… From East to the BARBICAN
Curated by Something Human
With thoughtful reflections on democratic uses of public space, artists as citizens, explorers and activists utilise digital streaming and connectivity to playfully re-configure our understanding of the city.
Enacting ceremonial processions, tracing alternative routes and activating dead spaces, the artists cross the City thresholds into the historical and financial heart of London, to join an exciting live art programme at the BARBICAN. In the surrounds of this iconic labyrinthine space, visitors are invited to explore new territories re-mapped by digital projections, online technologies, performance installations, and intimate interactions.
