Lorenzo Fonda was born in Italy in 1979. After high school he went on to work as a freelancer working on ads, installations and graphic design gigs. At 25 he got accepted into Fabrica, the renowned center for research on visual communication. After that he started to be represented as a director by productions companies from Italy, London and New York, among which Mercurio Films who financed and produced his first full length documentary, Megunica, about street artist and animator,Blu, which went on to win several awards. In 2010 he moved to Los Angeles, where he currently lives and work.
