Malvina is one of Singapore’s most exciting young performance artists. While currently pursuing her degree studies in Interactive Media at Nanyang Technological University’s School of Art, Design and Media, she has participated in numerous artist projects and exhibitions both in southeast Asia and Europe.
Malvina held her first solo exhibition in 2008 at ‘House’ at Dempsey Hill, Singapore, as part of their ‘Adopt an Artist’ programme. Since then, she has participated in numerous exhibitions such as Pantone My Art exhibition held at The Coffee Connoisseur and Back to Nostalgia exhibition held at the Leftfoot store organised by Singapore Contemporary Young Artists. Her work, in collaboration with acclaimed Singaporean based artist, Shubigi Rao, was featured on an art reality TV series,
Watch This Space on Mediacorp (Singapore)’s OKTO Channel. Recently, she showcased her latest work in a transnational exhibition, TranSport, held in both Madrid, Spain, at Factoria de Arte y Desarrollo and at Goodman Arts Centre in Singapore. She too presented a performance piece on the Opening Night of the exhibition in Madrid, Spain.
Also, she explores performance art and presented a piece at Nanyang Technological University as part of NOW! Performance Art Event and also at The Substation as part of Night Festival 2010.Most recently, she was invited to perform at FETTERFIELD 2012, a Singapore Performance Art Event.
