Open Dialogues is a UK writing collaboration, founded in 2008 by Rachel Lois Clapham and Mary Paterson, that produces critical writing on and as performance. Previous projects include NOTAMOLESKINE (New Performance Festival Turku, Finland 2013), Overspill (Spill Festival of Performance London 2007 and 2009) and Writing Live (Performa Biennial New York 2007 and 2009). In 2012 Open Dialogues launched NOTA: a framework for research that presses on the time, place and quality of notes in relation to performance. NOTA takes the form of performance, exhibitions and a book published in 10 chapters. NOTA Chapter 1 was published in 2013.
